Mail Protection Suite
SeCure-SoHo offers a comprehensive mail security suite based on PineApp's Mail-SeCure 1000 series product; it offers a powerful perimeter security mechanism to protect against mail-bombing and DoES (Denial of Email Services attacks), combined with layers that filter Spam, Viruses and all various email-based threats.
Anti Spam Engines
SeCure-SoHo has an advanced eleven-layer Anti-Spam engine enhanced by Recurrent Pattern Detection (RPD™) technology. All incoming mail undergoes an in-depth analysis by the different Anti-Spam layers. SeCure-SoHo identifies 98.5% of incoming Spam and immediately blocks or tags it as Spam, in accordance with the organization's policy. By combining Anti-Spam technologies with advanced policy management, PineApp SeCure SoHo reduces the false positive ratio to almost zero.
Anti Virus Engines
SeCure-SoHo incorporates five Anti-Virus engines; SeCure-SoHo's unique Heuristic worm-detection engine, coupled with three F-Secure™ award-winning Anti-Virus scanning engines, provide full protection against known and unknown security threats. PineApp has also added the Zero-Hour™ outbreak detection engine to identify and block new-age Viruses and Worm outbreaks within minutes.
Mail Traffic Management
In order to lower administrator overhead, mail flow can be managed by administrators, domain managers or users. The system can be configured to send daily mail traffic reports to users. From within these reports users can view their mail traffic, manage their blocked Spam and control their own Black and White lists.
Policy Management
SeCure-SoHo's innovative Policy Management mechanism enables administrators to define rules for the entire organization. This flexibility enables the system administrators to enforce the organization's policy for both incoming and outgoing mail flow. SeCure-SoHo can smoothly interconnect with existing directory services using the LDAP protocol.
Automatic Updates
SeCure-SoHo is an auto-updated self-maintained system, requiring minimal management resources, guaranteeing maximum reliability. All software and signature updates are automatically applied without any required manual intervention, saving time and increasing efficiency.
Mail Server (optional)
SeCure-SoHo has an optional mail server module in which mailboxes can be created and managed using a friendly, simple interface. The web-access feature enables all users to read their mail from anywhere in the world. SeCure SoHo can currently be found in 43 different interface languages.
Web Filtering (HTTP & FTP)
SeCure-SoHo provides full protection against Viruses, Worms and Malicious-code while browsing or downloading files from the internet. The same Anti-Virus engines that effectively block email-based Viruses are deployed against all Web-based threats.
Firewall and VPN
SeCure-SoHo features a powerful yet easy to use, stateful packet inspection Firewall. The system includes a VPN server (PPTP-based) with encryption support, which enables employees to connect to the organization from a remote location in a safe manner.
