Growing Force in Security Solutions
Security IP Limited of Enstone, near Oxford, a specialist IT security provider, is expanding its sales operations to support the marketing of BitDefender antivirus solutions to business users.
“BitDefender is building a significant client base in the small to medium sized business applications,” says director, Andi Robinson. “This sector requires a more intensive engagement with new customers compared to the retail sector. We need to be able to provide consultancy services backed up by a thorough understanding of the customers’ communications network and IT infrastructure.”
James Cole has been recruited as Internal Sales Manager, a new appointment with overall responsibility for growing the company’s client base in business applications. He will be supported by Phil Gardner, an experienced sales executive with particular skills in outsource sales in the telecoms sector. Phil has worked with key vendors such as Nortel, Plantronics and Sennheiser.
For James Cole, this appointment continues and further develops his previous role supporting BitDefender’s business applications with a leading UK Distributor.
“I can see huge potential for BitDefender,” says James. “Security IP is a progressive company with ambitious plans. We have a superb SMB portfolio and with BitDefender’s Neural Network technology, we have some real competitive advantages in the market place. Our flagship product the BitDefender MS Exchange solution has caused some excitement already, and there is more to come with the launch next year, of the complete Version 3 corporate solutions.”
“It’s good to be in at the cutting edge, with freedom to use my initiative. That is a big difference from what I was doing before.”
